Longueuil, June 1, 2016 – The Réseau de transport de Longueuil (RTL) is proud to be the official transit provider for the fourth edition of La Grande Gourmandise, to be held from June 17 to 19, at Parc Vincent-d’Indy in Boucherville. The RTL will offer free bus service on line 80 between the Longueuil terminal and Carrefour de la Rive-Sud, on Saturday and Sunday, June 18 and 19. Residents are encouraged to download the coupon for a free ride from the RTL website (https://www.rtl-longueuil.qc.ca) or the website for La Grande Gourmandise.

“We are very pleased to be associated once again with this major food festival, which attracts curious visitors from all corners of the Agglomération de Longueuil. To encourage the healthy lifestyle habits promoted by the event, we are offering free rides so that residents can easily get to this family-friendly festival,” stated Colette Éthier, Chairman of the RTL Board of Directors.

La Grande Gourmandise (LGG) is more than just a festival; it is involved in a project to support children’s learning and academic success through healthy foods and eating habits. To show your support for the cause, you can purchase a bracelet for $10 that will give you several exclusive advantages, including quick access to the festival grounds, meet-and-greets with the chefs and speakers, and exclusive access to games and contests.
