Provided it receives the information and/or it is received on time, the RTL will give its customers MAJOR information that could impact their trips. 
The types of transmitted information are:
  1. Disruptions affecting lines 61 and 170, when there is a delay of 15 minutes or more or if the service is cancelled;
  2. Disruptions affecting one or a group of lines (for example, all lines using the Champlain Bridge), when there is a delay of 15 minutes or more or if the service is cancelled;
  3. When lines are diverted from their usual route. 
The information will be transmitted during the following hours:
 
From Monday to Friday: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
