Change a reservation
 
You must call our reservations centre to change a reservation.   
  • No later than 7:00 p.m. the day before for a local trip.  
  • At least two days before (not including the day of the trip) for a metropolitan trip.
  • At least two hours before the planned departure time for a same-day trip.  
Changes are subject to vehicle availability..
 

RTL recommendation

The RTL recommends that you plan your medical, business and leisure trips whenever possible:

  • Between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
  • After 6:00 p.m.

This will ensure greater scheduling flexibility.

 
Cancel a reservation

Please let the RTL know as soon as possible if you must cancel a reservation, even if it is a few minutes before the start of the time slot. Call 450-670-2992, option 1, menu 2.

Our services are available 7 days a week, from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

You may also use our automated on-line system to cancel a reservation.

Please allow a reasonable amount of time to cancel a metropolitan trip.

If you cancel at the last minute or when the vehicle arrives, the place that was reserved for you cannot be offered to another user.

 

If you are not present at the departure point

If you are not present at the departure point for your trip, your return trip is automatically cancelled. To keep your return trip, you must inform a reservations centre representative no more than 30 minutes after the end of the time slot when you were absent. For example, if you are absent for a planned outbound trip between 12:30 p.m. and 1:00 p.m., you must call us no later than 1:30 p.m. to keep your return trip.

If you are absent for your return trip and you call the reservations centre to arrange a new return trip, your request will be handled according to vehicle availability.

What you need to know:

The RTL will contact users who repeatedly fail to show up for their trip or who cancel at the last minute. Such situations will be evaluated and a warning may be issued.

Cancelling a trip at the door or without reasonable notice reduces vehicle availability and prevents other users from having access to a place on a vehicle. Schedules are designed to accommodate everyone’s needs and drivers are not permitted to change schedules or trips.

It is important to respect reservation times as this makes it possible to provide reliable service to all users.
