RTL PARTNERS WITH OPERATION RED NOSE LONGUEUIL–RIVE-SUD
Longueuil, November 5, 2019 - For the fifth consecutive year, the Réseau de transport de Longueuil (RTL) is partnering with Operation Red Nose Longueuil–Rive-Sud and encouraging citizens to use a safe method of transportation for their holiday festivities.
The RTL will participate in a bus tour of the South Shore with the Operation Red Nose mascot, making stops at several festive events to raise awareness about the importance of getting home safely. As the same time, we will encourage people to use a ride home service or public transit. This activity will take place on Friday, December 6, from 7:30 p.m. to midnight.
“The RTL is proud to renew its partnership with Operation Red Nose Longueuil–Rive-Sud. Only by joining forces can we educate people about the importance of not drinking and driving. The RTL is happy to provide one of our buses for the mascot tour as a way to encourage people to celebrate responsibly this holiday season,” stated Pierre Brodeur, Chairman of the RTL Board of Directors and first-time ambassador for Operation Red Nose Longueuil–Rive-Sud.
The ride home service will be operating on the streets of the Agglomération de Longueuil for a total of 18 nights between November 30 and December 31, 2019.
