PLAGE EN FÊTE: GET THERE WITH THE BUS DES ÎLES!
Longueuil, July 31, 2019 - The Réseau de transport de Longueuil (RTL) is pleased to announce that it will partner with Ville de Longueuil’s Plage en fête event, to be held on August 10 and 11. Exceptionally, users will be able to ride the Bus des Îles for free that weekend on presentation of a coupon for a free ride.
“This is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the last few weekends before the kids head back to school. We’ve organized several free family activities designed to promote healthy lifestyle habits,” stated Pierre Brodeur, Chairman of the RTL Board of Directors.
Service will be free on line 261 to the event site at Île Charron municipal beach from the start of service on Saturday, August 10 until the end of service on Sunday, August 11, on presentation of a coupon for a free ride, available on the RTL website. Line 261 – Bus des îles will depart from the Longueuil terminal every 60 minutes between 9:45 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. The last departure from Île Charron will be at 6:10 p.m.
