INCREASE IN RTL RIDERSHIP IN 2017
Longueuil, February 20, 2018 – The Réseau de transport de Longueuil (RTL) is proud to announce an increase in ridership, as well as top-notch service delivery results in 2017.
The RTL recorded an almost 2% increase in ridership across its entire regular network compared to 2016. The data analysis also revealed that the service offer announced by the RTL was 99.8% achieved in terms of vehicle availability.
Like the regular network, the paratransit network also saw an increase in ridership, which was up 2.14% compared to 2016.
“This increase is attributable to the economic vitality of the Agglomération de Longueuil and to the efforts made by our teams to provide users with the best possible service. Our planning team meticulously analyzes ridership data, just as our Customer Service department carefully considers the valuable feedback provided by our users. But, I’d especially like to point out the work done by our maintenance teams, who make sure our vehicles are running smoothly every day, and the efforts made by our drivers to stay on schedule despite traffic problems,” stated Pierre Brodeur, Chairman of the RTL.
