The RTL: official transit provider of music lovers

Longueuil, April 30, 2015 – As a proud supporter of cultural and recreational tourism events in the Agglomération de Longueuil, the Réseau de transport de Longueuil (RTL) is thrilled to be the official transit provider for the fifth annual edition of the Festival Classica, to be held this year from May 27 to 31.

“We are very pleased to be associated with this classical music festival, which attracts increasing numbers of music lovers each year with its varied and accessible programming. This partnership is part of our commitment to increasing our presence in the community and to encouraging residents to participate in large numbers in the Agglomeration’s numerous cultural events,” stated Colette Éthier, Chairman of the RTL Board of Directors.

RTL bus lines 1 and 6 will transport festival-goers to the site free of charge starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 29, until the last buses on Sunday, May 31. In addition, between 8:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, a free shuttle service will make return trips between Terminus Longueuil and downtown Saint-Lambert, as part of the Michael Jackson tribute show Thriller symphonique.

“Consider the Réseau de transport de Longueuil for all your public transit needs. The fast, reliable, and comfortable service eliminates the hassle of looking for parking—it’s the perfect transportation solution for a festival of this scale!” concluded the Chairman.
