Longueuil, December 4, 2015 – During its public assembly on December 2, the members of the Réseau de transport de Longueuil’s (RTL) Board of Directors adopted the new RTL fare schedule, which will enter into effect on January 1, 2016.

The RTL’s local fares rose by an average of 2%, in line with the increase in fares of the Agence métropolitaine de transport, which determines the cost of the TRAM 3 and TRAM 5 in particular. However, the one trip and exact cash fares remain unchanged, i.e., $3.25. Users may also take advantage of the same rates as last year for the special 24 hour pass at $4.50 and the Unlimited evening pass at $9.25. Note that these passes are an incentive to use public transit for occasional trips, or cultural or recreational outings.

The table below shows all the details for the 2016 fares.
