RTL: official transit provider of curious food lovers


Longueuil, May 13, 2015 – As a proud supporter of cultural and recreational tourism events in the Agglomération, the Réseau de transport de Longueuil (RTL) is thrilled to be the official transit provider for the third edition of La Grande Gourmandise, to be held from May 29 to 31, at Parc Vincent-d’Indy in Boucherville.

The RTL will offer free bus service on line 80 between the Longueuil terminal and Carrefour de la Rive-Sud, starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 29, until the end of the event on Sunday.

“The RTL is pleased to be associated with this important event, which attracts increasingly large numbers of curious food lovers each year. As an active member of the community, the RTL wants to improve access for residents to various activities and festivals within the Agglomération,” stated Colette Éthier, Chairman of the RTL Board of Directors.

The goal of this gourmet event is to promote food and cooking as key elements of Québec’s culture and heritage, while emphasizing the importance of healthy habits and food choices. For more information, visit the following website:
