Longueuil, October 7, 2015 – The Réseau de transport de Longueuil (RTL) and Théâtre de la Ville are proud to announce their partnership in an initiative to promote culture and public transit. As the official transit provider of numerous cultural events within the Agglomération, RTL is thrilled about its association with Théâtre de la Ville, a key player in the cultural scene on the South Shore.

“Once again, we delighted to be able to help residents access the major cultural events held in the Agglomération. Two of the performances during Théâtre de la Ville’s 2015-2016 season will be sponsored by RTL, under the banner Les Soirées illimitées du RTL—a nod to our transit fare that allows riders unlimited, low-cost evening travel throughout our network. For your evenings out, take public transit!,” emphasized Colette Éthier, Chairman of the RTL Board of Directors.

Bernard Grandmont, Chairman of Théâtre de la Ville’s Board of Directors, added: “We are thrilled about this new partnership with the Réseau de transport de Longueuil, a major South Shore corporation that contributes to bringing culture to the community. We strongly encourage spectators to use public transit for Les Soirées illimitées du RTL!”

Théâtre de la Ville’s 2015-2016 season includes a rich and diverse line-up of some 65 performances for audiences of all ages. The partnership promotes the use of the transit fare to attend the shows by BET.E & STEF on November 12 and 14, and LES COWBOYS FRINGANTS on April 29, 2016, to be held at Salle Jean-Louis-Millette. The unlimited evening fare, valid starting at 6 p.m. daily, allows riders unlimited use of the RTL network for just $4.50.
Citizens can purchase the unlimited evening fare at the Théâtre’s box office, and at the RTL’s 80 points of sale.
